Served by a tollway, an existing regular train line, and the planned high speed rail line, this new city in the valley also features supporting research and development, specialty educational center, mixed-use transit oriented development, as well as medical tourism region - all with an eye to transform Indonesia's wellness and health challenges into opportunity.
Leveraging The Region's Best Potential As Greenfield
Upon understanding the region's inner excellence and its future context as part of Jakarta-Bandung economic corridor, integrated business clusters were created. This job-inclusive strategy is aimed to drive this greenfield to become an equitable place for existing and incoming residents. Visioning Document and Concept Master Plan were created based on business projection with integrated social welfare and knowledge capital development plan both for all residents.
Building Credibility and Champions By Focusing On Early Activation
Visioning and Concept Master Plan also placed full attention on effective action plan that can showcase program confidence and form Champions. Early Activation were grounded on the site's inner excellence as legacy tea farm. Facilities for wellness, adventure, and interpretive program are formed with the support of nature-based hospitality. This experience-based program is also integrated into the rail-based transportation, bringing people from Jakarta and/or Bandung to Walini at the nearby existing station.
