Beside acts as regional growth center, the region is also works as the main gate for trade route, logistic distribution, and people mobility in East Sulawesi. This region consists of four regencies: Banggai, Banggai Islands, Banggai Sea, and Tojo Una-Una, in a unified vision to improve the quality and sustainability of economic condition, social welfare, and cultural excellence through three main pillars: Fishery, Plantation, and Maritime Tourism.
Banggai Touna can become a coastal zone model region for a blue-green island that is sustainable, resilient, inclusive and competitive.
