TERRA LUMEN is a placemaking architecture studio.
We are purpose driven. We plan, design, and execute meaningful places, in urban and nature settings. We build towns, neighborhoods, special regions including resort, public space, and industrial park. We design retails, commercial buildings, and facilities for government, education, and hospitality, including tenant improvement. Along with you, we build primary homes and backyard homes like California Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), and gardens too. We specialize in master planning, architecture, interior, and landscape design. Where works take us throughout Indonesia, North America, Middle East, and Transcontinental Asia-Africa. And we do these from our studio in Jakarta, Bandung, Los Angeles, and with our partners in Washington DC. We are PEOPLE PLACES. |

repurposed exhibit
In support of International Our Ocean Conference 2018, 75% of the structures we designed for the Expo were repurposed into civic center and other public facilities in disaster-stricken villages in Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat.
This initiative is a part of a call to action to reduce land-based waste and protect our ocean, wherever and whenever possible.

6 out of 7 world's sea turtles call Indonesian waters home and they are disappearing due to rapid degradation of marine habitats including coral reefs. As planners and designers, we regularly deploy land development strategies including along the coastal regions that may affect marine lives.
Terra Lumen is committed to caring strategies, one of which by helping sustainable community-driven turtle nesting sites incorporating proven environmental protection practices while providing jobs for the locals.
