HALIM STATION SUPERBLOCK

Located next to an existing tollway and within a short distance from Jakarta's commercial center and Halim regional airport, this superblock supports a large area of commercial needs as the termination of the high speed railway system connecting Jakarta and Bandung.

From meeting centers to office towers, hotels, and retail center, the building programs allow for the area to become a hub and a magnet for transit users that will connect to the eastern region of Java.

Sensible Simulation of Economic Uplift 

While the expected activities will bring greater benefit to the larger area, careful simulation of economic uplift for this superblock area was required to insert a more elevated commercial activities within the aeropolis of Halim airport and within the site of the existing air force base.

Stitching Back the System

While the new commercial system from offices to meeting space, hotels, and retail center expected to support incoming visitors and transit users, the entire block is reconnected to the surrounding context through immediate articulation on the waterways.
