The goal of bringing the life back to the Old Town District with economic, tourism, and social layering requires comprehensive activation programs that is inclusive and can become a catalyst for the urban revitalization initiative.

​The rebranding of the District as a Digital and Creative District with program partnership, incentive, and investment help create a vibrant and distinctive designed place become the cornerstone of the work while series of clustered spaces provide with experiential magnet for emerging and developed communities to collaborate.

Leveraging Its Asset to Create Vibrant and Distinctive Designed Place 

Based on initial assessment including accessibility, lack of inclusivity, lack of economic articulation of key historic assets, and the need for improved spatial design, several key strategies identified including creating place branding, optimizing parking clusters, reorganize food spaces and other focal points.

The basic thinking led to the establishment of Digital District and Creative District with distinct program, incentive, and investment program.

Building Credibility 

This activation program calls upon not only two-dimensional intervention but most importantly employing "tactical urbanism" through placemaking initiatives with layered culture of collaboration in every corners.
